Our featured Fort Mill / Tega Cay business this edition is Bakers Buzzin.
Bakers Buzzin’ is a brand new children’s cooking studio located in the heart of Tega Cay and Fort Mill. Tega Cay residents and owners Leslie and Andrew Fisher started with a basic vision; to teach children of all ages how to cook and bake while having fun. From that point forward their ideas grew and their business was born. They teach basic cooking skills using ordinary kitchen equipment with a wide variety of foods and ingredients. Children are guided through age appropriate recipes that are not only fun and delicious, but that can be recreated at home in their own kitchens. Their weekly classes focus on a single theme such as a seasonal fruit or vegetable, a holiday or a food that kids will love to create over and over again.
As parents of three children ages 7, 9 and 12, the Fisher’s understand that families are extremely busy with so many extracurricular activities. Learning even basic kitchen skills is often out of reach for most children and this is where they come in. Children learn manners, teamwork, math, science, good hygiene and so much more by attending their weekly classes and events. In addition to weekly classes, Bakers Buzzin’ offers a variety of children’s Birthday Parties, Scout and other group events, Kids’ Night Out’s, workshops and more. Stop into their kitchen studio at 725 Stockbridge Drive in Fort Mill on the corner of Gold Hill Road and Highway 160. You’ll love what you see!
